Pats Slap Cincy Like They Did Two Yeats Ago To The Texans

A winner is defined not only by the WL colums. Two years ago the Trexan strutted in to NE with there "letter jackets" on thinking they were the boss. Yesterday after learning the Pats were done we saw what a real winner is. Like the Texans the Bengals got slapped sideways and up and down. Remember Buster Douglas beating Mike Tyson? How many times did he successfully defend his title? Cincy, you may be good but you just ain't there yet and you will see NE in the playoffs.

While I somewhat agree with your comment we must also keep in mind how well the Patriots play at home. The true test will be how well they will do on the road. They do have an advantage as far as in division games with the exception of Miami. Miami seems to always play the Pats tough. The Jets are done and I don't think the Bills have enough. They have a tough 4 or 5 game spell against Chicago, Denver, Indy, Green Bay and San Diego with Detroit in there. Only time will tell the answers.

To your point, the Pats have 33 straight wins at home vs AFC opponents. An amazing record.

Sometimes in sports one finds teams that win a lot of games but have a tough time when it comes to big boy games . . . often teams break though this and sometimes they do not . . . so far both Cinn and Houston seemed to be falling into those categories . . . . maybe they will be able to turn it around . . . but as it stands now the two teams do have some signature losses at key times against different teams in the AFC . . .

You guys want a reason to be scared of the Pats just like people that watch the TV looking for something to be scared of like Ebola.

Pat's arn't what they used to be.  But the reports of them not being a good team anymore are greatly exaggerated.

One ugly loss doesn't make them a bad team.

The Patriots have been blown out 9 times in the Brady ere. 8 times the next game turned out just like the Bengals game. The Patriots are actually a better team than over the last few seasons (and they were in the AFC Championship game last season). A sluggish start by Patriots standards coupled with Brady's age stoked the talking heads fires and then a mindless heard of the unknowing and football challenged mfans followed.

There are 14 teams the would love to have the Patriots current record and another 9 that are sitting in the same spot. Only 6 teams have better records at this point and the Patriots have beat one of them.
