Catches a lobbed pass between three Colts defenders. Frankly, this was more of a result of bad pass defense, although I do give respect to Julio cradling the ball to keep it from hitting the turf. The fact of the matter is, he should have never been in this easy of a position to make the catch - one of our defenders should have contested him for it.

Now this was an excellent catch; however, it's funny how much of a mismatch Bowe was for Lacey throughout the game. Lacey looks so undersized in comparison, that he looks like a high school kid covering a grown man. Big WR's give the Colts fits constantly (ex. Andre Johnson) and Dwayne Bowe was no exception. It doesn't help that we don't like to do press coverage and get physical with these receivers, either.

Let's see how many other highlights we can give other teams!

That Bowe catch was sick. So was the Jones one. I couldn't even get mad about them when they happened. I mean Jones was triple covered (and fairly well too) and he somehow managed to catch the ball.

I noticed that too, how they were both against the Colts. But I think it's more of a testament to the skill and ability of the receivers than the incompetence of the Colts pass D

Yeah, I can't blame them for those two plays. When you play against receivers like that, they are going to make those sort of plays no matter how well you defend. That just happens.

The Bowe catch was just craaazy. Lacey was hugging him like he hasn't seen his dad in years, making it harder for Bowe to catch the ball, and then he does THAT! The Julio Jones catch could have easily been an interception by Thomas... 3 guys in the area and he somehow makes the catch :smh:
