My thoughts exactly.  I've never thought he'd be a good NFL QB, no matter how much his team wins.  To me, everything just screams "Slow!" about him.  He doesn't have any 'pop' to his game.

They often do..they've been switching QB's all year, as early in the year they were going with Blake Bell..aka The Belldozer...6'6 250 lb QB Knight was getting playing time all year off and on, until the Texas loss...He took over the duties after they lost to Baylor...

 

It was Stoops coaching..He saw that they had trouble with up tempo..They ran up tempo the past few years, but not as much this year as they tried to figure out the QB situation.

They said on the broadcast that he is a freshman, and that Sabin had said that he finally was understanding the system, about blocking, and the playbook, and Sabin felt he would be the best back-up for Yeldon for this game. So, I guess he wasn't progressing as much as they liked, and it took until now to get up to speed.
