Great receiving back in a pass heavy offense. He'll have a big year.

He will be an instant upgrade. Stafford needs a running back that can catch the ball and make some big plays.

It's kind of weird. He was projected to be the #1 draft pick 2006, went to the Saints, was viewed as a specialty player, won a SB in 2009, gave up his 2005 Heisman Trophy in 2012, in 2011 Bush finally learned how to be a work horse back & run between the tackles with the Dolphins, & in 2013 the Lions picked him up in Free Agency. 

 

Bush has had an eventful NFL career & from finesse back to a feared back. A rare transformation in running back circles actually. Kudos to Mr. Bush.

This is a really good signing for the Lions.  Bush has developed into a much more rounded RB since he came into the league.  He definitely did not have the career arch most anticipated but he has still be a very big weapon in this league. I would not have minded if he had landed here because he would have been an upgrade over Brown an Ballard.

 

I definitely will be looking at trying to nab Bush in my fantasy league.  This will be a huge help for Megatron.
