I was really hoping the Saints would have picked him up for one more year. Reggie Wayne once said that Eric Martin was his favorite player growing up, it would have been so awesome to have him just one year with us, but whatever happens, happens. 

 

Will really miss seeing him play, one of my favorite wide receivers of the past decade. Automatic Hall of Famer.

I agree 100% with the section of your post I bolded Bogie. You know I respect you my friend, but I purely out selfish reasons want him to retire as a one team HOF WR.

It's fine by me Gramz. In my estimation, his commitment to this game, this city, & his teammates cannot be acknowledged & praised enough. I'm really gonna miss his training camp entrances myself. He was very creative in his memorable, show up to win a SB appearances. Cool stuff!

I'd rather he retired now. Saved his body, and stayed a one team player.
