Everything going the Vikings way today (missed FG from 49ers, Cam Akers running like never before, overcoming penalties, Addison pulling the ball away from CB). It’s like the Vikings are playing like they want it badly.

Looks like Vikings could play like this, lol... Even with the token interception.

 

Run defense has improved this year, that's a big positive compared to previous years.

I don't know what's up with Vikings and False Starts?

 

Are they the one with highest false start penalties?

 

Is it a QB fault usually, unless OL just can't get their act right before the snap?

 

Some QBs and their OL do very well at the snap, some like vikings always ruin good drives with this.

This has been a pretty well played game. I don't have many complaints.

Purdy has struggled last two games.

This is one of the best games that Cousins has had. He played very well. This was a good all around team win. The OL played well. The defense played pretty well. We sustained drives. My kind of football.

if Vikings play well like this from here onwards, they've a chance at playoffs with a softer schedule but you know, Vikings

I liked him in the draft for a late round pickup, he's been good WR3/4 for a while, but doesn't get much opportunities in terms of targets. Maybe, he's good in some situations and not every down receiver? Had 5 TDs in rookie year, so he gets good in end zone it seems.

Going into the game, I was leading my fantasy matchup by 12 points. I had Fred Warner in defensive player slot and my opponent had George Kittle.

 

Warner got 11 points, as much as Kittle did! 7 solo tackles, 6 assists, 1 pass deflection.

 

@NFLfan Warner made his NFL debut in Vikings stadium, when 49ers lost with Jimmy G. I think it was Cousins' debut as Vikings QB as well in the season opener. Both had great games then too.

Purdy has struggled for his high standards now and has got his first multiple interception game, but he was clutch last week getting his offense to a potential game-winning FG in the final minute, but his rookie kicker missed the attempt

Yeah.. I forgot about him, I think he had injury struggles last year. They definitely miss him, he was usually reliable. Moody isn't bad though, he had injury concerns all training camp, so I'm actually surprised he's not missed time so far.
