Definitely.

Although it might make us make a move for one of the 2 top Guards out there.

Hopefully Fries is good, he might be a little salty losing the starting job though.

Edit: so much for that. Just posted wrap on calf. Hopefully he is good

Ballard might bring in some competition now. Don't think it'll be the top guys available though.

Idk?

If your "Starter" goes down, and you already need some additional depth.

Might make sense to throw $5m out to one of those guys and let Fries be the depth.

Oh I absolutely hope he does don't get me wrong!

I just think Ballard will be focused on bringing in guard depth rather than a starter. Just a hunch though, not based on anything.

Hambright might be able to hold it down.

I spotted him multiple times Saturday against the Bills' 3rd team and thought he seemed to be playing with a noticeable level of recognition, skill and strength.

Yeah he did, I actually thought our line as a whole did pretty well in the 4th quarter.

Don't know if you saw my post, but Hambright had 21 pass-blocking snaps without allowing a pressure on Saturday.

Stats match what your eyes told you.

Slide Smith down already.

Funny thing about that is, I was typing my post and it said you had just posted

I said to myself "Matabix is saying slide Smith over and bring in Freeland"

With those 3 in the middle 4 and 1 is always manageable

I like it. I hope he gets a shot this week with the 2's and repeats it.

Really hope the ones get a drive or two this Saturday.

Same, just looked back to last year's Lions game after joint practices. Starters didn't play.

Saying that, we have joint practices next week to, no way we don't play starters in any of the games.
