It's still early, but I do agree he is trending in that direction. He's further ahead than expected with his pocket presence and processing. Hell he's throwing guys open. That's very rare for a rookie with such limited experience. 

 

I think he showed Shane quite a bit by getting back out there after that interception this weekend.

I think it's time to make that decision. Preferably before the Bears joint practices, but at the latest after the game... it would be 2 weeks to starting day... IMO both the QB needs more uninterrupted time with the 1s and the team needs more consistent practice with the guy who's going to be starting... whoever it is(*cough* Richardson *cough*).

Some have suggested it's more about AR being ready to play in the NFL than it's about him being better than Minshew. I think that's spot on.

 

Before saturday's game I honestly wouldn't have believed he would start week 1, but he was much better than I expected.
