They compared Max Duggan to Sam Ehlinger

Neither has the arm strength to drive it 12 yds to the sidelines when off platform. Nor the foot speed to escape around the outside against NFL speed.

That doesn't mean they can't make good plays, but i see Sam has some limitations.

Darius Rush, CB, South Carolina

Keidron Smith, CB, Kentucky

Jonathan Mingo, WR, Mississippi

Michael Wilson, WR, Stanford

Jarrett Patterson, OL, Notre Dame

Davis Allen, TE, Clemson

Guess I need to learn more about Darius Rush. Seems like he is turning some heads

Anybody watching the practice on ESPN

They mentioned CJ Stroud and that he has a high floor and with the right situation could instantly be a top 15-18 QB

I don’t see any QB in this class that will “instantly be a top 15-18”.   Way too soon.

Maybe in their second year.    Maybe.

A comment like that is pure hype.

Stroud #1 weakness is his play under pressure. It's important if they get Young or Stroud to fix the interior IOL.

Young more so for his size and concerns about his durability

IMO….

Fixing the OL is the second most important issue after getting the right QB.

So it isn't so important if we get one of the others? And I always worry about people that pigeon hole rookies.

    • In the Horseshoe Blue ppr league…   QB: Stroud/CWilliams RB: Mixon/Jacobs/Ekeler/Mostert WR:Lamb/DAdams/KAllen/Hopkins/Worthy TE: EEngram/Shultz def: 9ers/Eggles K: Aubrey My Team is strong!!! All my wrs got 100+catch opportunity! all my RBs have 10-15TD potential! Engram 100+rec last year! Stroud plays Colts D twice along with Mixon/Engram/Hopkins/Shultz(Im not high on Gus’ D if you haven’t noticed!) Caleb Williams will probably only play 1 week for me unless I drop him! 9ers/Eggles D’s are solid! Aubrey got a leg!   I think I’ma win atleast a few games with this team this year!
    • I would say he’s a very effective coach with a number of pro bowlers.  No complaints from me.
    • The other thing about Ryan is he just happened to be there when Ballard had no plan B after Wentz.  He wasn't planning on him.
    • I think the biggest reason they ran the Ernie Zampese offense was that their best receiver (TY Hilton) required longer routes to create separation, and also resulted in more big plays.  At the same time, the offensive line wasn't all that great, regardless of what they tried in staffing it, and Andrew had a thing for wearing the Red Cape being Superman, which put his body at risk.  Yes, running a lower risk West Coast offense later was more helpful in keeping him healthy.  But I think it also reduced the number of big plays as well.  (Somebody check me on the stats.  I could be wrong.)
    • I did that and felt no difference. So I went in the basement and head butted the cement block wall with a foam pillow between my head and the wall..Then I did it without the pillow.   What was the question?
