Thanksgiving Day Football Thread

Happy Thanksgiving, all. Hope you're enjoying whatever you are doing.

Is anyone watching football today? What are your thoughts on the games? Who will win?

 

Bears at Lions 

Washington at Dallas

Atlanta at New Orleans

Glad this NFC North game is the first one, as I will not be watching the other two (my family does not watch much football).  Go Lions!  

 

Dallas over Washington

Saints over Falcons 

 

I think the Bears will pull out this one but I'm hoping they don't. If the Lions lose at home to a Chase Daniel-led team, what does that say for Matt Patricia?

If the Bears win, it says that Matt Patricia can beat Tom Brady, but not Chase Daniels. 

 

The Lions usually play well on Thanksgiving, so the game could go either way. I'm happy with Frank Reich; McDaniels actually did the Colts a favor. An Eagles fan I know isn't too thrilled losing Reich and DeFilippo.

Looks like Frank Reich was the unsung hero of that Eagles coaching staff last year. The Eagles offense looks meh this season. The Vikings offense was actually much better last year with Pat Shurmur and Case Keenum. We are disappointed with DeFilippo. We expected a lot more creativity in the offense. We have not seen it.

 

On the other hand, the Colts offense with Reich looks awesome.

I hate ALS. It is such a horrible, horrible disease. It was sad to see that Fox piece on Tim Green who revealed he has ALS. Too many football players are afflicted with this awful condition.

@Synthetic (formerly Bogie) has not posted here in quite a while. His Saints look unbeatable. Wherever he is, he must be happy.
