I've been doing some simulated drafts lately and i find myself picking CB over and over in the 1st because I find the available CBs to be BPA at that position of the draft. It's still too early, but IMO Ballard will not pick an inferior player if elite one is available even if it's at CB.

 

I know the Tampa 2 cover scheme doesn't require elite talent at CB, but we still play in sub-packages in over 50% of the cases and IMO CB is still one of the premier positions in most of those packages. 

 

As I've been saying lately, I also am hopeful that we will be moving more and more towards man-cover scheme as we continue to improve the talent and experience of the roster. 

 

You could be right,  but ultimately I think you’re going to be very disappointed....
