I'm not going to defend him, but I will say it's on more than just him.  I don't know who made the decision to name Tolzien the starter from August (or earlier).  I know Irsay said they looked at bringing in a vet but he was too expensive.  That's on ownership.

 

Ballard brought in a majority of that defense that was out there.  It sounded like Ballard was the one who wanted TJ to play CB instead of bench.  The coordinators, assistant coaches, and training staff are all part of it.

 

Yes Pagano is the ultimate place where the buck stops, but I don't think chopping off the head is going to make much of a difference at this point.  I want to wait at least two more games before I go off the deep end.
