Wow. Nerve damage of an unknown extent now confirmed. Terrible news. This changes things.  If he's there in the 2nd, yes, or trade back and get him plus more picks. Otherwise pass on him at 18.

Colts can't afford to spend one of their early round picks on a player who isn't playing in 2016. It would be one of the most stupid things to do with so many holes on the team. We can argue about gambling with a 4th or 5th round pick or give up a 3 or 4th round pick next year but not with our first 3 round picks.

Story I read/heard said he's got problems in both ankles.     I know, it didn't make sense to me either.....

Prayers for him and his recovery. And this is why we as fans should never question a college player that elects to leave early. Your never promise another day or another play.
