Yes, he was a Great Pass Rusher for the Vikes! I know it's a few days old but Mayo also retired from the Pats. Mayo was only 29.

He'll be pretty good on whichever pregame show he gets signed to.

  There is a video he released on-line where he 'rides off into the sunset' announcing his retirement.

   Its something you'd expect from him..

.....he was playing out of position with the Bears and he was hurt with Carolina.

 

But his interviews were always great

Great player and good guy. He brought us many thrills on the football field and left us with happy memories. Off the field he did great work for veterans with the Homes for Wounded Warriors Foundation that he founded.

Nice post NF. Jared Allen really is a kind, hardworking, & compassionate human being. Had Carolina won the SB, I would have been the happiest for him alone. You're a good man Allen. I hope the next phase of your life makes you content, at ease, & just without any worries emotionally or financially.
