16-10...and 5-0....and they'll get better

The defense can't really be expected to play any better than it has. They're on the field practically all game every week and DESPITE that play outstanding. Imagine if they could actually catch their breath?

The offense is a different bird altogether. DEN needs to make FA moves and change it up, because this unit is not the answer. 5 weeks needs to see some ray of improvement.

That's probably what they'll do...NFL

He can sit next week (at Cleveland) and then Denver has a bye and he'll try to go vs Green Bay.

Expect the hype for Green Bay (6-0) at Denver (6-0) to start any minute now

My mistake. I meant to write that I want Ware to play Week 8.

Yes, Ware can sit next week.

sounds like wishful thinking

Wishful thinking is hoping that all of their pieces will be there come playoff time and that they can maintain this level of play for 19 games. Well, the last 3-4 will be the ones that matter.

Ware might be hurt. Von Miller got a bit of a scare today. Talib had an ankle issue, not sure what his status is. That's all just from one game. Just ask Seattle what happens when you lose 3-4 of your top guys. Even one can make a notable difference. The offense can't move the ball or finish drives for crap, so the defense is constantly on the field further increasing the risk of injury.

The D has been lights out in a series of games that have all been close thanks to a pathetic offense. If the D hadn't played at the level it has, they would be 0-5. That offense is dead weight, which makes the D look all the more impressive.

Teams win championships, and defense is the most important facet but for goodness sake you need SOME offense to go with it! Denver has practically zero.
