Yeah I'm sure these guys run around beating the tar out of each other, with potentially fatal or life crippling injuries, just to put on a show.This isn't WWE.

 

 

the fact is you hardly see any hard hits at all anymore. they set up one or 2 per half to make the fans salivate that  they are watching"football" . they wear pads,theyll run into each other without much fear but accidents will happen. But theres hardly the banging you think is going on.
