Kirk's contract is 4 years? Btw, do you think the Vikes will make another trade into the 2nd or 3rd round today? I think KAM/Vikes made two good trades yesterday. If they did not make the trade with the Jets, another team may have drafted JJ. The dropoff from JJ to Nix is huge IMO -- it was not worth the risk to stay at 11. Trading 6 spots to get Dallas Turner cost us a 3rd and 4th rounder next year but if he can replace Hunter, he will be worth the draft capital. NFLfan is pleased 😄 -

I think it needs to be said after reading all the overreactions, ignore the medical for a second which to me is an non-issue since the guy has been healthy and productive the last two years and I'm more then confident the colts did their homework extensively to have him so high on their board, take away that this draft is top heavy with offensive talent and desperate QB teams, we're talking about a guy that talent-wise is a top 5 player that fell to 15. This isn't Kwity Paye or Turay, or Werner where your banking on traits instead of production. This is a proven pass rusher who's averaged 12 sacks the last two years after he was forced by Washington to retire to open a scholarship spot. Watch the kid play before passing judgement. That's all I ask. -
I said Edgrin Cooper, but I'd be excited with Mitchell or Powers Johnson too. -
