I just hope if we do re-sign him it's for a reasonable amount of cash. I'd rather let him walk than overpay him.

Any decent free agent corner is going to get paid well.

I think you guys failed to read the forum rules which specifically state that Trent Richardson needs to be brought into the conversation of every thread by page 3. ( it's in the fine print)

So, I actually think Grigson will go a little higher than he might otherwise in order to avoid not having anything to show for the 2nd round pick he gave up. To have traded away a first round and second round pick and only have TR to show for it does not place Grigs in a favorable light.

People who clamor  for us to be active in free agency have to understand that overpaying is part of the game. Sometimes it's one of your guys, often it is that alluring guy from another team. 

I am willing to "over pay", within reason, for Davis because we have been yearning for quality CB's for so long that now that we have one, and he is relatively young, I sure would like to hold on to him.
