Chip Vaughn Gets The X-Nay

Vaughn is axed. Is his talent good enough to make the 53? Obviously his actions late game probably cost him. Thoughts?

He was apparently rated the third best SS in The 2009 draft. It seems like injuries and stupid play are the reasons he hasn't really been able to find himself a home. The guy did or does have potential, he is a big boy as well listed at 6'2 220+. After seeing his two penalties in a row, I have no problem with him getting axed. Let's hope he DOESN'T go somewhere and tear stuff up, ..

wow i didnt know his draft profile was that good looking, I wish we had kept him, players like that you can bet they will make your D tough, yes those penalties were foolish but compared to other players thats nothing.

Chip was a good physical prospect; 4.4 speed on a 6'2'', 220 frame but in my opinion he never got used to the transfer from being a wake forest star to being a project in the NFL. He'll start for someone one day if he gets over himself.
