Viewing his injury is not one for the weak of heart. Reminds me a lot of E.G. Green's broken leg many years ago.

I was really bummed to see Carr go out. I'm not a Raiders fan, but thought the Raiders could do something big in the playoffs this year.

I think part of the concern with Lockett coming out of college was his potential durability issue.  Maybe this was a freak play but it does fit into some of the pre-draft chatter.

Durability usually talks about tendons ankles etc not snapping your leg because another players weight came down on it in a gruesome fashion. Freak play..

Bone snapping isn't something that can be predicated.

You can't predict the nature of the injury, but size matters in the NFL come draft time as it pertains to injury risk.  Teddy Bridgewater fell in the draft because he's skinny.  Now he's out for the season.

It wasn't a prediction.  It was a concern for injury because of his size.  Bridgewater had a concern for injury because of his slight frame.  I know each injury has its own causes, but the pundits were concerned about injury for both, and now both are injured in a pretty significant way......in less than, or about, one year into their pro career.,
