When I watched the game, I didn't notice that on the first play, Brown was able to make contact with the DE to slow him down enough to free up Luck to make the pass. Wasn't a great block by any means, but that little bit of contact gave Luck the half second he needed to get the pass off.

I agree 100000000% Luck's first three pass attempts it seems like he got hit, and notice how when he was given time the passes were right in between the numbers? This guy is gonna be good.

I think that was very much a designed play. Not sure the block was supposed to be any more than that because Brown was the primary target all along. I think it was a well designed play too. We'll see that again during the season...

The TD toss to Collie was STRONG! IF the line can protect him, this season might be a pretty darned good one!
