Mostly just been position drills. A few gal type formations, 5 on 5, 7 on7 .

biggest thing so far that I’ve noticed is they’re really working AR and Minshew on their footwork.

That was Josh Allens biggest problem too coming out of college.

What if AR's footwork issues were fixed ???

Nice to see Juju should be back.

Makes me question the Lammons signing a little more?

Ballard must really see something in him, to bring him in faxing a suspension.

SS must want him to put a beat down on someone

I had a feeling alot of old school colts fans would not tolerate JT turning his nose up at 5.1 million.

Ehh.  I remember, long ago, when Hank Aaron signed a $250k contract and folks thought “man - that’s a lot of money to play a game.”

They’re in the midst of 11/11 drill now. I am gonna say this, I am worried more about our CBs than I was and way more concerned than I am about the QB spot. Not sure if it’s the fact our WRs have gotten better or if our CBs suck, but they’re not doing so hot. Lots of wide open receivers

The last couple years defense had dominated camp. Nice to see the offense start camp on the right foot.

Crazy, Colts still have a good RB room even without Taylor.

Moss

Hull

Jackson

Is a nice little 3 piece.

I’ll say this much, having seen every QB we’ve had since Manning in person, AR can toss it deeper than any of them, including Luck who could drop it in right windows. And AR can do it with surprising accuracy deep.

It was never his deep accuracy in college. He will have to learn to use the middle of the field and that’s where he struggles.  But if Steichen does what he did righ eagles we will be a running team with some deep ball mixed in.

If teams didn't have unilateral authority to rescind contracts i would have issue with it too but given that they can cut you if you don't meet their contract value, i have no issue with holdouts by players when they exceed contracts.

Babe Ruth was paid $80,000 annually in the 30s. Hank Aaron was before my time, but JT ain't got nothing on either of them two in terms of resume, production what have you.

    • Hey Everyone,   So, I just caught wind of Goodson's apology letter after dropping that short pass from Minshew against the Texans last season. Here's my humorous take on the situation:   "Dear Fans, Coaches, Teammates, and Supporters,   I'm writing to apologize for buttering up that short pass in the most critical moment against the Texans. Look, I know I'm the backup running back, but hey, I'm usually good for catching those short throws - emphasis on 'usually'. My bad for turning a routine play into a blooper reel moment.   To my teammates, sorry for making you wonder if I was secretly playing for the other team. Next time, I'll practice catching more than just footballs thrown by the water boy.   To the coaches, maybe let's reconsider throwing short passes to guys who have hands that are more slippery than a greased pig at the county fair. Just a suggestion.   And to the fans, thanks for turning my drop into a meme. I promise to work on my catching skills so I can make highlights, not lowlights, next season.   Sincerely, Goodson (aka the running back who should stick to running)"   Okay, maybe I exaggerated a bit, but you get the gist. Let's hope Goodson has been hitting those catching drills hard this offseason!
    • I remember looking for highlights of TJ after we drafted him.  I kept finding videos of him following OJ Howard into the endzone.  Not sure if Howard was his responsibility, but it didn't paint a promising picture.
    • Ballard,   So, yeah, about that whole "bust" thing—I guess the cat's out of the bag. Turns out, I'm more of a popcorn fart than a thunderclap. My bad.   When you drafted me, I thought I was gonna be the Colts' next big thing. You know, sacking quarterbacks, making highlight reels, maybe even getting my face on a cereal box someday. But instead, I've been about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.   I've watched the tapes, Coach. I've seen the memes. They're comparing my NFL career to a hangover—starts off with high hopes, and ends with regret and a lot of Gatorade. And honestly, I get it. I'm like that guest who shows up to a party uninvited and ends up eating all the chips.   So, here's my mea culpa. I apologize for not living up to the hype. For every missed tackle, every missed sack, and that one time I accidentally tackled our own quarterback in practice (sorry, Philip). I'm like the guy who brings a guitar to a party and insists on playing Wonderwall—I'm annoying and not nearly as good as I think I am.   But hey, I'm not giving up. I'm hitting the gym, studying film (mostly bloopers at this point), and practicing my touchdown dance for when pigs finally fly. I promise to work harder and maybe, just maybe, I'll redeem myself and earn my place in the Hall of Mediocrity.   Thanks for believing in me, and letting me live my dream for 4 years straight whilst simultaneously producing nothing for your team. I'll make you proud yet, even if it's just by being the team's MVP of Bust Central, and we aren't talking bronze heads.    Sincerely, Ben "The Bust" Banagous (Not sponsored by Gatorade yet, but a guy can dream)
    • if you scream MODS! in anything I write,  I might get in trouble. hahaha
    • MODS!  This should be enough to force you to bring back the laughing emoji option!   Funny stuff!
