you are right. I believe the only time the Colts have had a reliable defense was during the Harbaugh era. Siracusa was a wall.
The 2006 Super Bowl run was anchored by Sanders working up on the line. If the Bears had a better QB indy might not have won that one.
I agree with all of this. One of my beefs with Pierce was that it seemed like he wasn’t getting open fast enough to be utilized for his deep threat ability. Idk at what point it was last season, but it seemed like minshew had one of the highest time to throws but didn’t have the deep shots to back it up. I don’t know or have the data, but i Hope Pierce is consistently in the top for top speeds because it means he’s moving fast to burn people
Yeah that flag for hitting Mahomes when he was running along the sideline was ridiculous level of protection, he was in bounds but the defender still got flagged for hitting him.
The killer is -unless something changes- Bradley’s defense is going to severely limit Colts offensive possessions.

This defensive scheme and how it is currently employed is tired, passive, predictable, and soft.
