Wow....no need to get rude. So what of Ballards picks over the last 3 years do u seeing as being star material based on their early performances in the league??

Hooker, Nelson, Leonard, Mack, and a whole bunch of starting caliber players that are super young with high ceilings.

Like I said,  I don't count Nelson and even Hooker.  They were high picks.  Leonard is average and so over rated by this board.  I will give u Mack.  I am waiting for one of these 2nd round pick to develop into a star.

I mean, you can't bash Ballard's drafting and say his first round picks don't count. Grigson's first round disasters sure counted...

Leonard isn't overrated by any means. He was deservedly all pro last season and was even injured most the season. He's struggled at times this season and today was no exception, but he's still the leader of this defense... and better than we have had at linebacker in a long time.

Turay was on pace to being an elite pass rusher. Well on his way. Hopefully he bounces back in a big way.

Your leader got 2 penalties that could have arguably cost us the game? He cant cover to save his life and gets blown off the ball. He is loud and brings a lot of attention to himself.  I think he has developed into a me player this year with all the hype he got last year.  He just strikes me as being ego centric.  I could b wrong but that's just the way I feel

I've been very impressed with Mack.

I understand that thinking. But I think it's more of him bringing energy at all times, which he does and what the franchise wants and needs from him. We just need him to be the playmaker from last year.

He should less time dancing round the field and focus more on making the correct decision with regards to the flow of a play

    • Right now, he's unemployed.  I have to imagine he'd put any lingering resentment behind him if we called.   That said, I certainly can't say for sure he's the best option available on the FA market.  I don't really know.  What I do know is that what we're doing right now isn't working.  And I hope that yesterday's victory doesn't lull the FO into thinking that it is.
    • Yep, but without the superb efficiency and quick decision-making though.
    • O Lord dude.  Trying to interpret what the rules are is crazy.  The ball can actually move even roll I guess IIRC if you never lose possession.  Then it can even touch the ground now as long is it doesn't move lol.  It doesn't have to be your hands which secures possession either.  I think you can actually secure a catch with your hand and your butt, lol.  I saw that one time.  Dude had a ball pinned on his cheeks.    I was referring to a post that said it was short, well it wasn't.  That was on the jumbotron at the stadium.  I finally got the PDF for it.  We weren't hearing any of the commentary either.    After that, catch interpretations are crazy.  but the Pigskin almost certainly was touching TKS hands and across the plane in this still.   They are tying to codify something that is subjective.  Always gonna lead to issues    TK.pdf
    • I mean...he led a drive from basically midfield to score a TD after the initial attempt ended with him taking a sack to make it 4th and 14.   It was the only drive they had that was even more than 50 yards.   After 3 weeks with Matt Ryan at QB, this is arguably the least efficient (see worst) offense in the NFL.   Now that's not all on Ryan because the OL has been bad. But he's the QB. And if he gets credit for the GWD, he gets blame for the state of the offense.   Wentz was a liability, but he had 1 LESS fumble and only 3 MORE INTs in 13 MORE games last year. Ryan is on pace for nearly 40 fumbles and 23 INTs. I don't think he will get near those, but Ryan's definitely been a liability so far.
