I'm starting to think that whatever CB does, it will always somehow involve a 2nd round pick.

Not only has he stockpiled and drafted great players of our own in the 2nd round, 5 of our 13 2nd round players are also free agents that CB pulled from others teams.  The guy needs to claim it as a nickname.

2nd round picks are solid quality. I believe around 6 a year on average become pro-bowlers or better in their careers. They are also very affordable. Cheap rookie contracts. Lastly, Ballard has found ways to obtain additional 2nd rounders for 3 years now. That will give us more high-end lottery tickets each year. No negatives to his plan!

Frank was also drafted 57th overall in 1985.   That would be a second round pick now.
