Arizona's pick

Recommended Posts

Of course it is both boon and bane to have the #1 pick. Knowing you can pluck the best player from the draft is downright delicious. But, it also means your team was really....really bad.

As I look at the Cardinals needs, they are many. It does not begin with Dline. Yet, most draft prognosticators have 2 or 3 of the top four picks as dline selections. It seems to be a standard answer that they will go with Bosa, but will they? If one looks at the next several positions for teams who have a need for D-line and what they have to give this year (I have my doubts that Arizona is willing to trade down for futures considering their needs), it doesn't really indicate a likely partner.

So does everyone think they will just go with Bosa?

If I were them, I'd trade down, still get a solid player, and accumulate some much needed draft picks to overhaul/speed-up that rebuild. Poor David Johnson, wasting his prime in that desert wasteland lol. I'd love to see them draft some o-linemen to get DJ going...but that's because I'm selfish and it would be good for fantasy football purposes.

Would be amazing if the Colts could somehow come away with DJ2K. He's not only an exceptional player, but a great dude off of the field.
