If the Colts take Player X in the first round,  then here's how the rest of their draft will shake out.     The predictions are based on positions.    I'm NOT offering names.

 

I did this exercise last year and came incredibly close on most every pick except the first,  and no one saw Hooker falling to the Colts...

 

I also made no trades in this.      We have 9 draft picks and I see us using six of them on defense and three on offense.

 

So.....

 

IF the Colts take Chubb                                    THEN the Colts will take

Notes:     I'm sure I'll be off here and there.     Ballard will likely take a player(s) in rounds different than my projection.   But my hunch is I won't be off by much.    I wasn't off by more than a round last year.    And I think I'll be close again this year.    As for all my BPA friends....    I think my choices match up well with positional value.    There are a number of good candidates in the rounds I've picked.    We can get our needs and stay with BPA at the same time.    We did last year;  I suspect we'll do it again.

I'll play, most likely will be wrong though, it's the draft!

Some reasoning: I feel like if we do not grab a LBer in the first, one of the better LBers (Vander Esch, Evans, etc) will fall into the second day (Myles Jack type of thing, I know, he was injured, but still). That would leave us the second of the back to back for a OG or a RB. Then free up the 3rd pick in the 2nd round on another pick (either RB or WR depending on how the board falls).
