Rex Ryan as DC?

Bills point per game against rank was identical this past season as it was Ryan's last season (16th) and they let go/got rid of three of their best defensive players in Gilmore, Darby and Dareus. Bills run defense went to toilet after Dareus trade and they ended up giving a lot of yards. But yards don't determine the winner of the game, points do.

 

Last time Rex Ryan had a top 10 defense was in 2011. 4 average/medicore years after that and one bad (bottom 10).

Not sure I could stomach seeing his smug face 20 sundays a year...just my 2 cents.

So I guess you'r against McDaniels being our HC as NE's offense has constantly kicked in our teeth year after year?

That would be logical conclusion, but honestly I dont have a strong opinion on McD either way.  I suppose my disdain for Rex Ryan comes from the combo of how we got beat in ‘10 and his generally boastful personality (some might call it his swagger). I havent seen this type of grandstanding from McD.  I do believe McD with be the next coach of the Indianapolis Colts.  Regardless of if he is or not, I just hope that 2-3 years from now we are all saying “Man, Ballard nailed it!”  Thanks for the welcome MB.

Id be fine with Rex as a DC, but im holding hope that Irsay throws his wallet at Kris Richard. Someone also posted that getting Rex as DC, he would stick around and not get poached later. Makes sense, but still Richard please.
