oldunclemark
This is not my list......Its a past poster...but I have had this list challenged in off board debatesOf the Colts who started the Super Bowl in 2009.....exactly how many started opening day of 2011DEFENSEJacob LaceyMelvin BullettAntwan BetheaGary BrackettRobert MathisDwight FreeneyPhillip Wheeler (I believe)Antonio Johnson (this is the one I'm not sure about)OFFENSERyan DiemJeff SaturdayReggie WayneDallas ClarkJoe AddaiPierre GarconNOT INCLUDED:Austin Collie and Donald Brown (who were not listed as starters in the Super Bowl)Pat Angerer, Kavell Conner and Anthony Costanzo (who were still in college)..and Adam Vinateri..who was injured...Is this list correct? Do we REALLY still have 14 starters (minus the old country boy) from the Super Bowl team?Cant the person who made this post originally (or anyone) fact check this ? JoKeR
Forget starters there's not much difference, its basically the same team. We don't have Brock or Session and now we have Sims, Hughes, Angerer, Nevis, Thomas, and Rucker. There's not much difference except depth.
oldunclemark
..so the number of players who started the Super Bowl and who started the 2011 season is 14..not counting Collie and Brown (who didnt start the Super Bowl)and Peyton Manning (who didnt start the 2011 season). The number is 14 or 15 with Wheeler, right? Did Phillip Wheeler start the Super Bowl?

WSO
I dont know about 2009 SB starting roster but my guess is 1717 out of the 22 2009 roster that started at any point are still on the current roster.Take into account free agency and that number is cut in nearly half.
