Tampa Bay (+3.5) at San Diego (12-4-16)

4:25 EST......Sam Rosen, Dave Diehl and promising rookie sideline babe Holly Sonders on FOX

Low 70s and sunny (big surprise in southern California) over-under up at 47.5

Tampa QB Jameis Winston (249 of 406, 2,900 yards, 22 TDs, 11 INTs) has led Tampa (6-5) to 3 wins in a row with the considerable help from WR 'Magic Mike' Evans (73 catches, 1,020 yards, 10 TDs)  and double threat Melvin Gordon (234 carries, 908 yards, 9 TDs), who has also caught 37 for 365 yards.

Tampa allows 250 pass yards per game and that's good news for SD QB Phillip Rivers (251 of 399, 3,128 yards, 23 Tds, 12 INTs) who is over 3,000 yards passing for the 11th year in a row. SD cornerback Casey Hayward (6 interceptions, No. 1 in the NFL) will try to add to SD's 14 pass interceptions.

The Chargers dont run the ball (3.8 per carry.....1,097 yards in 11 games)

Chargers (5-6) are still alive for the playoffs but they have to win them all...to catch Denver (7-4) or Kansas City (8-3)

Its not impossible. SD plays Tampa, at Carolina (4-7), Oakland (9-2) and Kansas City (8-3), both in SD and...wait for it.....the Browns (0-11)

Tampa has 2 games left with New Orleans (5-6) but none left with division-leading Atlanta (7-4).

The late afternoon start is of note here. By the time they kick off, Tampa and SD will know if Atlanta (7-4) did or didn't beat Kansas City (8-3)

Tampa has allowed just 32 points in their last 3 games but SD averages 30 per game at home so the 'over-under' is tricky.

Tampa is 4-1  on the road..I'm not sure they win..its close ..but if you can get the 3 1/2, they're a fairly good choice here

If the Raiders win out they're the best team...period. The only way they would then lose in the playoffs is by the stigma that sticks teams who haven't been to the playoffs much, not because they're necessarily worse than whoever they play. Buffalo is their easiest game left and they're not exactly the Browns.

Oakland is really something else. Carr probably has the MVP locked up.

They are a fun team to watch. Carr has so much enthusiasm. Mack just forced a fumble and the first person to celebrate with him on the sideline is Carr. They are young and exciting.
