The Pats left Jabaal Sheard home this weekend. Apparently a healthy scratch.

 

He's not a superstar, but he's as good as any pass rusher we have right now, and they as well for that matter. 

 

It might only work because it's Belichick, but this type of tough love with veteran players feels like the missing link in our up and down performance issues.

 

I think it works better for Pagano when he has stronger vocal player leaders...things haven't been the same since the departure of Cory Redding.

I don't think a veteran player being vocal really helps unless he's backing it up by a decent performance on the field. This is what's missing this season whether you look at Mathis or DQ.

Belichek has always done things his own way, I think many fans would question benching sheard..... if it wasn't for BB involved in the decision. Although, Flowers' play has seemed to justify the move already.
