Anderson vs Hillman

I like the Broncos RB tandem. They tend to be consistent every week but the question now is..."who is better?" Anderson or Hillman? Do you think Hillman may beat Anderson at any point? They are both pretty good. I wanted to get Anderson but he was taken. Then i took Hillman and realized that even though he is a second stringer, Broncos will put him in when they get to the red zone. Kinda like what the Niners did last year. Had Gore run and when they reached the endzone, they put in Carlos Hyde, which was annoying...

CJ Anderson dude. By far.

It's not even close. Anderson is the primary back and he will get the ball the majority of the time. A 1st round pick. Hillman I wouldn't even draft in a regular league. He'll get the ball on some 3rd downs and some passing downs.

Its so weird because last year when Ball went down I was thinking Denver would struggle to run the ball. Then multiple guys step up with 1 emerging as a really good feature back.

Yep, it happens like that sometimes. That's why I like drafting rbs late and having a couple healthy ones with lots of potential. Robinson and Varga have a good chance of doing something like that if Gore ever goes down. They both looked impressive and had no serious injuries. I'm hoping Robinson and Varga get moved up to the 2nd and 3rd rb over Ballard as one of them could be our next CJ Anderson. They just need the chance.

Ballard can't stay healthy for more than a week how's he going to see the field JR and Varga are 2/3

I think Robinson can be really good, and I love Varga. At the least Varga should end up being a solid backup for us IMO.

I like Hillman the most of the two, but he needs to learn how to hold onto the football in order to top Anderson. Anderson is the better back right now by far, but I think Hillman has more upside and big play potential. As far as fantasy goes, Anderson by far he is going to get the biggest workload of the two.

Trade for him!

Well, I drafted both Ronnie Hillman and Terrance Williams in the Colts elite league. I got a terrible grade from nfl.com but I anticipated Hillman to get a good chunk of carries but did not anticipate Dez Bryant going down. So, I am enjoying my mini-luck right now fully knowing it can change any time. :)

This run game is killing me. I've got Anderson. He's definitely getting a few more touches, but I feel like he's in on obvious running downs and the penetration is overwhelming. Hillman isn't doing much better, but he at least has the benefit of not having the box stacked against him.

I really hope Anderson's toe/foot issue is over with soon and he goes back to being the stud he was at the end of last season.

honestly, i just dont think he is meeting expectations. Hillman will start taking the load soon and we can also tell because Thomson has also been playing more. But the oline isnt helping either...

Im stuck too. Hillman did not make me any points today...And i really cant wait to see what Gurley and Abdullah can do because Hillman is screwing up my fantasy...

I need a big game by Lynch to do good this Sunday to make up points

    • To me, it’s also a non- story, but for a different reason.     Because Ryan Kelly, classy guy that he is, has chosen to make it a non-story.  No complaining.  No running to the media to try to generate sympathy.   No hold out OR hold in where you show up but tell the team you won’t practice without a new contract.   He could’ve done any of them.  He chose to do none of them.     I think Kelly is a classy guy.  easy to see why he’s voted a team captain, and I think the union rep.  I also think the Colts under Ballard are filled with classy guys who are easy to root for.  Honestly, it one of the biggest reasons I’ve stuck around since Luck retired.  It’s a fun team to cheer for.    So I like the team, the coaches,  the front office, the owner and the city.   Hope to make it to Indy one day to meet as many of you as I can.
    • No worries.   Wasn’t making fun of you.  If I had one dollar for every brain cramp moment I’ve posted here, I’d be rich!      It’s all good.
    • I'm very interested in Carlie's as well.  I'm just not sold on our starting LB core.
    • I also forgot to say I think Buffalo will also have a down year.
    • Yeah North.....maybe I got confused about the Pittsburgh Pirates playing in the central.  But I think before realignment there were only 3 divisions, I think.. Like the Colts and Dolphins played in the East, the Raiders and Broncos played in the West and the Steelers and Brownies played in the Central.  But yeah my mistake the Steelers currently in the North division.
