Colts mock with trades

Recommended Posts

Trade back in the first for the browns 2nd and 3rd rounders

With the 11th pick in the second round the colts select

Eric Kendricks ILB UCLA

We want an ILB who can thump and cover and jackson can't do that. Having kendricks a similar player to his brother mychal kendricks are top cover linebackers around. Eric Kendricks  would create an identity on our identity.

I Have The colts moving up in the second round to philly's pick with our 6th from seattle and our seventh round pick and Select Paul Dawson LB TCU. Paul Dawson is in my vision the next lavonte david who can play in and outside linebacker. I see paul dawson being a top linebacker

With the thirtheenth pick in the 3rd round the colts select Danielle Hunter DE LSU. I believe he will fall. I see him becoming a fairly good pass rusher and stepping in for redding in coming years. Good run defense abilities.

With the 29th pick in the thir round the colts select Chris Hackett FS TCU. Able to play cb and safety. He will receiver respect from his peers.

The colts trade back in the fourth for the broncos 5th's

With the 7th pick in the fifth round the colts select Jordan Richards SS. I see him as a major steal here and could become a thumping strong safety with the correct He goes to stanford.

We would have back to back fifth rounders and my selections are

Titus Davis  and David Cobb. Titus davis is 6'2 with great size and his speed is a complement to an offense like ours. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GQP74UvDuU.  David Cobb isn't afraid of a hit and his vision is better than anyone we have. He'd go well in a one two. cobb goes too minny and davis to central michigan. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySyzWlsUfK0

We have 4 selections left 3 7th' (2 comp according to predictions via overthecap) and 6th

With the 29th pick in the sixth round the colts select Greg Mancz. Well it's a deep year for the centers but i addresed early that position but here we take a center from toledo off an injuiry but as a 6th rounder nothing to lose. I couldn't find any highlights.

With our sevenths we take 1: Devante Davis UNLV. He is a nice size 6'3 who plays possesion very well. He compares simlilar to martavis bryant.

2: Connor Holliday. Yes I saw the injuiry but if he actually stays healthy sit him a year we could have a fine backup QB. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejbxSOitH1I.    3: Sam Carter CB/SS TCU. Yes i like a lot of TCU players but this kid would begin a backup likely practice squad but has a good set of skills but inconsistency is an issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebcbwZpTqFg

I hope you like it

IDK about Dawson. I don't think he is as instinctive and as sure a tackler as Perryman and Kendricks. Looks like he's reacting and not reading what the Offense is going to do. Also appears to have trouble shedding blocks. Also didn't see a lot of hustle in that tape. Reminds me of Yawin Smallwood last year.

Ray Rice will never play for an NFL team again, and Suh is out of our price Range. Also, you don' t need a WR that high. Moncrief and Hilton are fine, and we have Allen and Fleener. Get a late round developmental guy like Tre McBride or Tony Lippett.

I think Chris Hackett is a nice S prospect with good height at 6'2". Pure coverage safety to me, but he's not scared to stick his nose in there either. Seems he was also used quite a bit on blitzes from what I can tell.  I like the way he moves back there, although I think he needs to add a couple of pounds though.
