What is so depressing? The understanding of what is takes to be a Hall of Famer?

Let me look at things your way.

Of course Jeff Saturday is a Hall of Famer. ??He was never the best at his position?? during his time which is kind of a prerequisite for o-linemen consideration, but golly gee, he tried real hard. And he played for me my favorite team.

And the Colts should let Peyton Manning play QB until is 70 years old and pay him $25 million a year to do so. No matter that he can't throw the ball out of his own shadow, the things he did for this franchise and this city, he should be able to play as long as he wants.

Wow - hey that works. I do feel better. Now I must go play with some puppies and go shopping for a pet unicorn. Hopefully there will be a rainbow on the way.

During the decade that Saturday played, Kevin Mawae was always considered to be the best center in the game.

You would be well-served to not question my knowledge about the NFL, the Colts or anything else related to the game.

Saturday will be in the ring of honor but HoF? Its seems to be extremely difficult to make it as skill position player, must be next to impossible for a o-line player. I say he wont make it.

Someone brought up Freeney not making the cut. I think he will and has the stats and dominance to back it up...but Mathis has similar numbers...

I wonder if they can induct them as a duo? Probably not but if they did, it should be them.

Zaturday shoukd be a hof. He was one of the best at his position during his era but like others have said he probably wont make it. However with a few more superbowls that might change, once peyton gets back.
