Fantex to offer stock in Arian Foster

Saw this and thought it was a pretty cool idea.  If it catches on, you could probably expect more stock for other players to pop up.

Personally, I love the idea.  Some knuckleheads are calling this slavery, which I think is nonsense.  But the gist of it is, Fantex pays $10 million for a 20% interest in all of Fosters earnings.  Fans will be offered stock (not sure how much stock would be issued and at what value), and you would carry it like any other stock in the stock market. 

 

I would totally be into something like this.  Never cared about following the stock market or business that much.  But this, I'd be all over like white on rice.

lol if I was good at it, I would have no issues with my career choice!
