Keep in mind that you can't just add the total to whatever the cap figure was at the end of the season. These fifteen contracts push fifteen minimal contracts out of the top 51. We also added a cap penalty when we released Zbikowski. The actual cap figure is approximately $106.1m as of right now.

With the exception of Cruz and Fitzgerald, who were never options to begin with IMO, I would take Ramses Barden over any other receiver that has been suggested over the last few days. He's big, young, and cheap.

 

Yeah I knew we weren't going after Cruz or Fitz because it is against Grigson's philosophy to go after name guys.

 

Now Ramses Barton is an interesting thought, wasn't he a rams WR?
