I hope seeing some of the very talented names that showed up in Round two, it might give some here the thought that it might be in the Colts' best interest to..........

Trade down.

Trade down,  still get a very talented player,  and acquire more picks.   I think our 24th pick in the 1st round would net the Colts a 2/3/5.

I'd do that.    That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

More in the days to come......

In this situation, I completely agree. There has to be someone willing to trade up though!

Yes.....   good point.   And that's always the catch.   But, watching the NFL Network they've been harping on something the last week or two....

That, with a 1st round draft pick, a team has the option to extend the rookie contract one additional year to 5.   And for teams at the top of the 2nd round, seeing a player they like at the bottom of the 2nd round,  some team will decide it's best to trade into the first round to have the ability to control that player for 5-years instead of 4,  especially if the player is a developmental QB that will need some grooming.

I think we're in the right spot to make this happen.    At least, I sure hope so....
