We made the right decision

I know this post is obviously past its prime, but here is THE reason in my mind we made the right decision...

We basically chose the very talented young QB and the huge amount of cap space OVER the very good but aging QB and multiple draft picks.

Why I chose the former, is because draft picks arent always sure things, and with 45 milion in cap space, we can do a lot of things to bring in proven and talented guys, while also retaining our own over the next couple of years.

And yes Luck is no sure thing either, but he is as close as there is to being a sure thing.

Yep, it was discussed ad nauseum that it was the right thing for both QBs to put them in places they will be comfortable. That is where they are both now.
