Colts vs Steelers post game

I thought the game went well Sunday, I wish we hadn't taken our foot off the gas like we did, but maybe Steichen learned his lesson last year. That may have been Richardson's best performance yet of his career, he just needs to stay on the field(I know, obvious observation). Speed, Jones, defensive line overall looked good. I sure hope Mitchell puts it together because no one can guard him. On that 3rd down play at the end of the game he appeared to run the wrong route, but he was open, he could have run the route to where Flacco threw the ball and he would have been open(and gotten the first down). Offensive line looked dominant, Bortolini played well. Taylor was nearly unstoppable. Pittman, Downs, Pierce, and Mitchell are a formidable group and Dulin isn't a slouch either. Defense was still too soft in the second half, but it is what it is. Great game, we need to string together a few more wins.

They didn’t take their foot off the gas.  The starting QB got hurt and the Steelers adjusted to what the Colts were doing and stopped them until late in the game when the Colts figured out their adjustments.  That’s the chess matchup of football.

    • Never not working and playing armchair GM.  Never hurts to look ahead to improving the Colts roster this coming offseason.  After 4 weeks of NFL play here are my top free agents on defense pending our own player's future roles.  Ready for the weekend.    Defensive Lineman: RDT Levi Onwuzurike (Lions) (8.73 RAS) - Added DJ Reader in the offseason moving Levi to a backup role. LDT Javon Kinlaw (NY Jets) (9.56 RAS) - life would come full circle adding Kinlaw - Void Years RDE Chase Young (Saints) (8.47 RAS) - Void Years RDE Malcolm Koonce (Raiders) - on IR and low expectations to add  WLB Jamien Sherwood (NY Jets) (4.24 RAS) - outstanding after 4 weeks and in 2023 had a 76.1 grade ILB Nick Niemann (Chargers) (9.51 RAS) – ST capable backup in 2023 produced well with a 71.6 grade LCB Paulson Adebo (Saints) (9.74 RAS) - slight upgrade over JuJu and been healthy RCB Brandon Stephens (Ravens) (9.2 RAS) - slight upgrade over Jaylon SS Efeatu Melifonwu (Lions) (9.7 RAS) - depending on Blackmon in 2025 a potential option SS Jeremey Chinn (Washington) (10.0 RAS) - listed as a starter and feel more career backup+ SS K’Von Wallace (Seahawks) (9.42 RAS) - proved capable of starting in 2023 FS Jevon Holland (Dolphins) starter (9.47 RAS) - premium player and future role of Nick Cross FS Elijah Molden (Chargers) (4.66 RAS) - backup with proven starting history FS Juanyeh Tomas (Cowboys) (8.59 RAS) – backup special teamer NCB Deommodore Lenoir (49ers) (6.3 RAS) starter – 2023 rivaled Kenny Moore.  2024 slightly better than Hobbs with a 66.3 grade NCB Nate Hobbs (Raiders) (9.62 RAS) starter – not on the level as Kenny Moore who is 30.7 years old. After 4 games posted a 64.9 grade
    • ballard would look bad if he cut gay after that signing, if it was a mistake we will see
    • ballard must have thought our backup rbs are better than moss or he would have went all in on moss
    • dont forget he is just a kid, he may make better comments as he grows up
    • Congrats to Matt Ryan as well. ROH in Atlanta. Greatest QB ever to play there.
