the point of that play is to hold the ball into JTs belly until you force the read guy (LB/ DE) to commit… it’s called the mesh point… what Hines did was like a quick play action that allowed the LB to freely move and dictate to Hines what to do

Everyone complaining about Frank should take a look at what Zac Taylor did in OT yesterday.   Mind boggling really.    Bengals fans would be stoked with a tie today. 

 

For the record I have criticized Frank for a few things yesterday.   But the last time I saw something as dumb as the Bengals in OT was the weird punt formation  by the Colts against the Pats

At the goal line, Sam can RPO including run through tackles. The kid is strong and plays like a linebacker. Best of all he does not panic and great vision. Reich does not know what he has.
