How are the rookies looking in camp? Costanzo being playing much? what about Carter?

I was at camp Yesterday, and Costanzo looked good. His footwork looked good and so did his timing. Its unfortunat that he has really only been practicing with the second teamers.

carter and darren evans have a lot of potential cant wait to see them play this preseason

I think Castonzo is practicing with the 2nd unit for a couple weeks so he go against the #1 defense. Can't get much better practice than that...and once P is back, he'll get in with the first team.

I want to see Castanzo go against Orakpo of the Redskins, would be a good early test. He will see his share of 4-3 Ds (Rams, Bengals) and 3-4 Ds (Redskins, Packers). I remember Castanzo getting beat on a good first step by the Brooks Reed, OLB from Arizona?? (or Ariz. State, not sure) at the Senior Bowl. Brooks Reed is the guy that Wade Philips got for the Houston D for their new 3-4 with their round 2 pick. So, I am curious to see how his feet hold up versus a variety of pass rushers, that is the most important thing I will look for in pre-season.
