If I'm luck I don't care if Manning is there or not. I'm going to get paid the same regardless of where I'm at. Might as well get paid the big $ to bench it and work hard on my NFL talents to get that big payday in the future.

I think what John Dee is saying is that we hope that our #1 overall draft pick will have the competitive fire burning in him that he would want to be a starter rather than a bench warmer.

I am in the minority that would choose Luck over Manning in his current state (But not Luck over a 2010 Manning)
