I'm always amazed that there aren't more pyrotechnic accidents when players run onto the field with flames shooting straight into the air as guys stampede out of the home team tunnel. 

 

I always like watching the SB confetti fall. It always gives me goosebumps. Hopefully INDY will experience that euphoric sensation in February man. It's time Colts nation. 1 more plateau to reach fellas. Do it!

Is it a bit premature to book the halftime SB entertainment already? Diamond Dave & the Van Halen brothers seem ready to go. Did Dave break his nose or what or is that a huge nicotine patch?

Goodell would never allow VH to perform sadly because Dave would say stuff like this: "Is that a pencil in your pocket or is the student just happy to see the teacher? Perfect attendance has it's privileges."

I loved VH growing up in the 80's but wow those videos were tough to watch. Dave looks like a recovering a drug addict and his voice is pretty much gone. You are right though Eddie looked good and can still play the guitar like no one else. Not sure if you know but the bass player is Eddie's son Wolfgang. After Michael Anthony left, they brought him on. You can see a resemblance to Eddie but he is much bigger in stature.

 

I teach guitar to kids and every now and again I will bring up Eddie as I always wanted to play like him. Love the fret board tapping that he invented but my students look at me like I have three heads. I guess I am officially old.
