Definitely need play makers on defense. besides line and linebackers, we need a real safety. Adams did well for us. Landry is not the answer. We can also use better back up options in defensive backfield across the board. There is a huge drop off after Davis and Toler at CB and Adams at Safety. Butler is great for nickel and dime packages. Gordy is nothing special. Sergio Brown is special teams player and at best part time safety. Would not want to rely on full season with Brown at Safety.

 

We need big time help on line and a real playmaker at LB. Colts appear to have soured on Werner. DQ and Freeman are adequate. Andrew JAckson has some potential. Newsome, Walden and MAthis round out pass rushing LB's in 3-4 package. 

 

On offense, we need  a WR, additional RB help, and some help on the line. I think we are set with AC, Mewhart and Holmes. We need better play from RG and RT spots and depth is an issue. Colts need to look past Reggie. If he comes back perhaps he is more a slot type receiver. We need to have another receiver who can give us vertical game. Montcrief, and TY are solid but we need to have another option. Nicks might be worth keeping as insurance in case REggie does not come back. FA or draft might fill this need.

 

Colts clearly need better running game. Herrron and Tipton have shown some potential. We might be stuck with last year of TRich. other option si Ballard who missed two full seasons, Bradshaw who cannot stay healthy, or we go after FA or draft to get another back who can give us a solid rotation between Herron, Tipton and whoever we draft or sign.
