What does that have to do with sunny weather?

I don't know. Ask Shane. As usual, his posts are not easily understandable. My original post was on wind and why Brady plays better because of the tight spirals per Belichick. That was it. I never mentioned the sun or anything else.

Mannings stats are better in sunny weather is what he is saying. Like, he literally said just that.

Right. And I disagreed because the post of mine he was responding to had nothing to do with sun but with Manning's struggles in wind and cold. So why are you even involved?

If Brady is an all weather QB, why is his record poor against Manning with Dome and Sunny weather?.

You realise most of his victory over Manning is in Foxboro ( Bill Belichick, Defenses and home field of course has nothing to do with it ).

I didn't realize no one else should be involved in a "forum".

Manning wouldn't be my first choice to play outdoors in a cold weather city over the course of a career. There are currently 3-4 in the league today I would easily put before him. NO Denver isn't a cold weather city. Average highs in December and January are right around 50 degrees.

Brady's a guy you want in the cold, rain, snow. He'll come through more than not and he's on even par with any QB to ever play the game in good weather.

What is Brady's record in the Dome vs Manning?

I think you're mis-remembering (to borrow a Roger Clemens term).

15 head to head matchups.

Brady is 10-5 overall. (8-4 while Manning was in Indy, 2-1 in Denver.)

He's 6-2 against Manning at Foxboro.

3-3 against him at Indy/Denver.

In the playoffs they've split, 2-2.

Why are you getting involved in this.  :number1:

His record is significantly better in Foxboro?.

Shhhh, let him believe Manning is better in the sunshine.

You may want to check mannings career numbers under 30 degrees. He has been a lot better than he gets credit for

I watched him for years struggle and lose. I don't care what his numbers say. He was at his best in the dome. I know you Manning fan boys love to pump him up by there are Colts fans that are far more objective about the guys shortcomings which were glaring.

I think TB's success in poor weather is related to his mechanics. He's completely obsessive about that aspect of his game, and has put a huge emphasis on it because it's not like he was born with a lot of God-given physical ability.

I remember this game (which was the last one I actually attended in person) where they smoked the Titans in an early season snow storm in 2009:

http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=291018017

Threw for 380 and 6 TDs.

This one was a year later, when they dismantled the Bears in Chicago:

http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=301212003

369 and two TDs in that one.

He's one of the better cold and poor-weather QBs I've seen, for sure.

Yeah, I remember those games. The Titans game was the coldest ever played at Foxboro I believe.

I think it is part due to his mechanics and his competitive drive.

All qbs have better numbers indoors. That isn't a secret

    • Bo Jackson is the greatest athlete of all-time, if anyone thinks otherwise, I want what they are drinking . He was a great NFL football player/RB, good Pro baseball player. Could bench press 450 pounds down to chest and up once and run a 40 in 4.1.
    • He is and he is overrated. He is a great player but I could even argue his teammate Brown is better. Let me say this, I know I come off as a Tatum hater, I really am not. He just never performs in the playoffs like a #1 option. Brown won the MVP for example. Take Brown off that team and the Mavs would have definitely beat them then. Tatum is on a loaded team, they have Brown, Porzingis, White, Holiday, and Horford.    Off the top of my head, players that are better than Tatum are: Joker, Luka, Giannis, Embiid, Edwards, SGA, and even Brown - so he isn't top 7. I would even take Brunson and Haliburton over him - they have more responsibility playing PG and are young as well. I have Tatum top 10 - he is slightly better than Butler and Mitchell, Tatum is great but shaky at times, he cracks my top 10 because LeBron, Curry, and Durant are old and Leonard is always injured. Without Haliburton, the Pacers would be a .500 team. Without Brunson so would the Knicks. Without Tatum, Boston would still win 55 games with Brown/Porzingis/Holiday/White/Horford, they could have won around 70 this past season but quit playing the last 2 weeks.
    • Fever are now in 7th, 8 teams make the playoffs. I think they will get in. Clark is great already, I figured she would be. Screw her critics!
    • The whole division stinks except for the Brewers and Cards. Cubs have played like doo doo and are only 1 game out of 3rd place  .
    • This is another reason why we should enjoy our time here and not bicker with friends and family. A life can be gone in a split-second no matter how big and strong anyone is. This is truly sad, and the kid had everything. RIP.   Word of advice, if you are going to drink alcohol, that is fine but DONT DRIVE!
