A nice Luck story to share.....

.... heard it this morning on Cowherd's show on ESPN....

In a nut shell it's this.....

That when GM's (Grigson and others) were doing their homework on Luck, they'd talk to the people at Stanford, including his teammates.

And his teammates would say.... "you have no idea how good he is.... none."

And the GM's would say.... "we already have him rated as the top player in the draft. We think he's really good."

And the teammates would respond.... "we get that. we know you think he's great. what we're trying to tell you is.... he's better than you think. you have no idea how great he really is..."

Nice.

p.s. -- for those who say.... they're his teammates, of course that's what they're going to say....

my only response is.... this doesn't happen in every case... doubt it happens in most cases. when you give people the chance to say things anonymously, they can and will say anything. And sometimes it's negative. Not here. Not with Luck.

Yeah, I've heard similar stories told about him many times, including by the coaches. How exciting to see him play in the big league finally!

Here is another coverage of his debut if you are not tired of it yet.
