Jason Foster, one of the captains of the URI football team last season, has signed a contract with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent.

Foster is a 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman. He played tackle at URI but is expected to be worked at guard by the Colts.

Foster, who is from Vermont, is a two-time All-Colonial Conference selection. His father, Robert, played in the NFL from 1973-78, all with the Giants.

"I could not be more proud of Jason," URI coach Joe Trainer said, according to a news release. "He will be incredibly competitive in that environment. He never red-shirted, and his best football is still ahead of him."

Lots of tackles move to guard when they come to the nfl... this guy has a small chance of making the team anyway

True we have so many O-Line signed hope they go with the best in TC not just the ones we have signed.Ben should be played at guard IMO until or if he can go RT.
