Why not let Hines play in the slot more?

I just feel like with the lack of play makers on this team getting enough reps, and their willingness to let Burton be kind of a gadget player, why not let hines play slot a lot more? 

 

Isn't Hines really good in open space, and is a good route runner? 

 

Im not saying to switch him permanently to WR im just saying it might help to have our playmakers all on the field. 

 

Why try and play with one hand tied behind our backs? 

 

This offense needs a jump start.
