ruksak
My god people, stop it. The mods have better things to do than to merge all day. Take 30 frickin seconds to search, man, at least glance at the front page. This is two just in the last hour.http://forums.colts....th-colts-merge/

ruksak
well you seem to have time to review them all .. thanks for the negativity, have yourself a great day.Sorry, it gets old though. Thanks however for providing a link to the Indy Star showing the inked deal. Robert Mathis, one of the NFL's most disruptive pass-rush ends, on Monday agreed to a four-year, $36-million contract. It includes a $15 million signing bonus, guarantees Mathis $17 million in the first year and pays him $24 million over the first two years. Indeee
Its alot of cash but I think its worth it as he will adjust nicel. Freeney tho I believe needs to be traded to a defensive end needy 4-3 scheme team. Maybe New England or Atlanta. 19 Mil this year and no contract next year its time to move Freeney and get something back. Hughes may flourish as outside LB in 3-

husker61
What's the cap hit?from the article my guess would be.5.75 million10.75 million7.75 million11.75 million (3.75 cap hit if cut)the first two years would have to be very close to what i posted, the last two years is just how i would have back loaded the contract like freeney's is. BmoreColt
I would have liked that eight number to be in year 2 to show a gradual increase with the cap..
husker61
I would have liked that eight number to be in year 2 to show a gradual increase with the cap..they are probably looking at other contracts for the team and how they fit into the cap in future years.
