We have some nice grocers  down here and you can pick up the dough in the refridgerated section and sauce and have some meats special cut...throw some olive oil and mushrooms and mozzarella on there....fire it up....much better then pizza hut. I agree it isn't something we do often but during the summer when we are cooking out a lot and we have a party etc the egg is pretty sweet....and yeah it might not be the greatest you ever had but it is far and away better then any frozen, gas station or chain delivered pizza. I'm always willing to broaden my horizons. Your creation does sound appetizing. Uh huh. Pizza Hut leaves a lot to be desired. No argument there. No one will ever confuse me with a master chef that's for sure. I'm a great food sampler though. Don't worry, I wouldn't make you do all the work if we made one of your green egg specialty anyway. Thanks for the invite my friend. I don't live in INDY but Wisconsin. It's the thought that counts right?

I will PM you, but I need to PM other regulars first & I have to be in the right mindset. Okay, I'll be honest. I procrastinate more than I should. A nice way of saying I'm lazy at replying back to friends. It's not you; It's me. I'm a work in progress I guess. 

 

You're a talented writer & a good dude. You are probably right butcher's ingredients probably make all the difference in the world when it comes to homemade pizza. Take care DGB.

We need to get to know somebody with a pilot's license. You know someone filthy rich who owns a lear jet who won't ask passengers for gas money. It's a pipe dream, but a good one.
